Kathleen Bahen received her art degree from James Madison University in Virginia and she has worked in the graphic arts and advertising field in Maryland. Her love of painting boats stems from her family history in the Chesapeake Bay area and 8 years of living/cruising the Caribbean and South America with her husband on their sailboat. The oils are an interpretation of the old masters she enjoyed during their 8 years cruising the canals in France.
